I had the opportunity to write for Advertising Week New York where I attended seminars and workshops led by some of the greatest minds in the industry. I was selected to apply for the opportunity by the UW- Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication and was one of eight students to attend.
I wrote published articles on the seminars, and was under a tight deadline to push content out soon after the seminar finished. I also aided in producing a LinkedIn Afterthoughts video for social media, which covered a Q&A with speakers following their keynote. I left AWNY feeling so inspired, motivated, and eager to continue my career in advertising. In just one short week, I felt so much growth and absorbed so much knowledge of my field.
